11/14/2025: things are holding up well with my rasberry pi 500+, i had some technical issues with the previous one i bought and an rpi engineer helped me troubleshoot and ended up explaining this was a hardware issue and the computer should be returned.
i did that and the one i exchanged it for is working very well and i haven't had any issues yet! it's been a needless, stupid headache having to deal with technical problems with a new computer and operating system i'm not an expert in using, but i hope it was worth it. i'm taking this on as a new endeavor in my path away from corporate operating systems and hardware so i'm hoping this investment, while affordable, is worth it.

11/1/2025: finally started downloading/torrenting music again today and downloaded the majority of nine inch nails' discography with great ease! fuck you, spotify. long live torrenting! i've been using strawberry music player btw and it's great and works perfectly. it's very much like itunes, only better!

10/19/2025: finally have my new computer officially set up, using the raspberry pi 500+ right now! i'm really enjoying the raspberry pi os and am so glad to be moving on from mac os and windows. it's been a big learning curve but i've really been enjoying it.

10/10/2025: i've spent a few hours tonight working on my website and tweaking things and it's looking a lot, lot better. i'm proud of myself and happy with it. i also wanna say that i had a really great day today and things... still feel new... with good reason. i'm grateful for all of it. i'm also grateful to anyone who keeps up with my website and explores this space i've been working on. i have more to add still--i have photography to upload!

10/3/2025: i've been using the raspberry pi os and really enjoying it! i've been so ready to get far away from windows and mac os for quite some time now and you best believe i'm not buying a brand new macbook or pc running windows. bookworm is the version of rpi os i'm using right now and it's a breath of fresh air. there's a lot for me to learn but i'm excited about it and i've enjoyed tinkering and even now just a 10 days in i'm already getting the hang of it!

9/23/2025: i just bought a new computer the other day, i'm running a totally new operating system that is new to me, and i've looked at many of my pages and many have broken bits and pieces i have to re-code. i appreciate the patience of visitors, i'll be fixing it asap. |
